Wrinkle reducing injections are not suitable for anyone who has myasthenia gravis or Lambert Eaton syndrome. The injections are not suitable for women who are pregnant, breast feeding or those under 18 years of age or over 65 years of age.
Occasionally as with all prescribed medicines side effects can sometimes occur. These are very rare and usually only temporary. For example some people may experience minor discomfort at the time of injection, swelling or redness.
